Resume

Hi, I’m Veronica Li — a communication designer and photographer based in New York, originally from Shanghai. I recently graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Communication Design.

My work explores the emotional and cultural layers of identity through print, image, and digital experience. I’m particularly drawn to themes of memory, the body, and cross-cultural storytelling. Recent projects include Skin as Canvas, a publication exploring body modification and identity, and Through the Skin, a web-based narrative experience rooted in visual research and personal history.

I enjoy working across disciplines — from editorial design and bookmaking to experimental photography and interactive narratives. For me, design is a tool not just for communication, but for reflection and connection.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, I move fluidly between cultures and contexts, always seeking meaningful ways to connect visuals with human stories. Outside of design, you’ll find me cooking, visiting new cafés, or hanging out with my cat.

Let’s create something thoughtful together.
